Over the years I’ve worked with a wide range of schools across London, Surrey and Kent, including many who are creating video content for the first time. A big part of what I do is making the whole process straightforward and easy to manage, from planning the shoot through to filming on site and guiding staff and students who may not be used to being on camera. I also help shape the structure of interviews where needed, so the final film feels confident, natural and true to the school, rather than overly staged or scripted. The aim is always to keep things relaxed so people feel comfortable, which leads to more honest and engaging content. My focus is on capturing real moments that bring a school to life, whether that’s classroom learning, sport, enrichment, or the small everyday interactions that often say the most. These are the details that make a school film feel memorable and authentic, and help prospective families get a genuine sense of the school. You can view examples of my work in the showreel above, which brings together a selection of recent school films I've produced.

We’ve been working with Kingswood House School in Epsom as their ongoing school video and photography partner, helping to capture the energy and character of day to day school life. The brief was to create a fun, engaging film that reflects the school’s ethos, the sense of family across the community, and the relationships between students and staff. Alongside the film, we’ve continued to provide photography and video content that supports their wider marketing, including the website, brochures, site banners and social media. It’s been a great ongoing collaboration, with the content now forming a key part of how the school presents itself online and to prospective families, helping to give a real feel for life at Kingswood House.

Hayes School in Bromley, Kent asked me back to create a new school film and homepage hero video to reflect the changes in leadership and updates to the curriculum. I had previously filmed their earlier video, which featured the former headteacher, so this project was about bringing everything up to date and giving a more current feel to the school. The shoot took place over two days. We started with an interview with the new headteacher to set the tone and introduce the direction the school is now heading in. From there, we spent the rest of the time moving through the school, capturing real moments in classrooms, sport, and enrichment activities. The focus was on showing everyday school life as it actually is, the teaching, the energy in lessons, and the wider experiences that students are part of beyond the classroom. The final result was a full school film alongside a shorter hero video for the homepage, both designed to modernise the website and give prospective families a clear, honest sense of what Hayes School is like today.

We’ve worked with The Elmgreen School in Norwood, South East London, for a number of years, creating professional school video production content for their website, prospectus and visitor screens. Our work has included Sixth Form welcome films, Head of Department introductions across a range of subjects, and staff profile videos that help showcase the people behind the school. Most recently, we updated the Headteacher welcome video and produced an aerial school tour to highlight the campus, outdoor spaces and facilities. The focus is always on creating clear, engaging school marketing films that help prospective students, parents and visitors get a real feel for the school, both online and in person.

After previously producing a full school film for New Line Learning in Maidstone, Kent, I was invited back to create a dedicated staff recruitment video to support their hiring campaign across both teaching and support roles. The project was filmed over a focused one day shoot, with an emphasis on interviewing teachers and support staff across different roles, capturing honest, natural insights into what it’s like to work at the school. The aim of the recruitment film was to support staff hiring by helping the school attract both teaching and support staff, while giving potential applicants a real sense of the culture, environment and day to day working life. It also helped extend the value of the original school film by turning it into something that could be used across multiple areas of school marketing.

Langley Park School for Girls in Beckenham, Kent invited us in to create a Headteacher welcome video for their website. It was a one day shoot, led by a headteacher presentation alongside filming throughout the school to capture classroom life and everyday moments. The focus was on showing the curriculum in action and giving a genuine feel for the school, from teaching and learning through to the atmosphere in and around lessons. It was all about capturing those small, real moments that help tell the bigger story of the school. We worked with Kennet Valley Primary School in Reading, Berkshire to create an updated Headteacher welcome video, refreshing their previous film to reflect the latest changes across the school and curriculum. Alongside the video, we spent a full day capturing new school photography as part of a wider website relaunch. The aim was to build a fresh, vibrant set of images that better represent everyday life at the school, which could then be used across the website, prospectus and wider marketing. The result is a more up to date and engaging set of content that gives prospective families a clearer feel for the school today.

We worked with Clare House Primary School in Beckenham on a two day shoot to create a set of new videos for their website following the arrival of a new Headteacher. The brief was to create a short Headteacher welcome video, around 90 seconds in length, focused on children enjoying learning, having fun, and showcasing the breadth of the curriculum and enrichment on offer, while maintaining strong engagement for parents and prospective families. We also created a 30 second film focusing specifically on their Early Years provision along with a homepage hero trailer. The project included a full school film, an Early Years video, and a short hero video for the homepage, which brought together the strongest moments from both. Across the two days, we filmed classroom activity, Early Years learning, enrichment activities and after school clubs, along with natural moments around the school to give a real sense of daily life at Clare House.
